Promote Your Work

Promoting and sharing your work on Square State Media is free, open to the Colorado creative community and easy. With the goal of broadcasting your work to as many people as possible a few things are needed from you.

It’s simple. Send the work you would like promoted, from there it is posted on the blog, fed to Twitter and our Facebook Fan page.

What is needed:

1. A short biography and/or artist statement. Head shots would be great also but not required. Please format to 200px at 72DPI.
2. Do you have a website, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter or Flickr account? If so, please include all the links you’d like published.
3. If you are a visual artist and have photographs of your work please use the promote@squarestatemedia.com account to send attachments formated to 600px wide (if your work is horizontal) or 400px wide (if your work is vertical) at 72DPI.
4. For the videographers or film makers in the room please send a link to your work or the HTML code from a YouTube or Vimeo formated video. Please keep the video at 600px wide or lower. If that is not possible please send a screen shot of your work (see #3) and the website will link back to your work published online.
5. Are you a photographer with a PhotoShelter account? Yes. Awesome, just send the HTML, from the slideshow or image, and call it a day.
6. Which category do you fall in? Please pick the one that fits your work best. If your work does not fall into any of these categories please ask and Square State Media can easily start a new one. BTW, they are listed to the right.
7. Square State Media, LLC will never retain the rights to any works published on squarestatemedia.com, that is a promise.

It will not publish anything that infringes or violates a person’s rights or violates the law.
